Elizabeth Ann Hall Smith, D.O.

I grew up in Circleville, Ohio, a small farming community best known for its annual pumpkin festival. In 2021, I moved to Knoxville and earned my medical degree from LMU-DCOM. I completed my clinical rotations at North Knoxville Medical Center – Tennova, where I developed a strong commitment to serving the local community. Over the course of more than two years, I worked closely with the resident and attending physicians and quickly realized I wanted to be part of this team, drawn by the program’s supportive and enriching learning environment. As a medical student at this hospital, I witnessed this program’s dedication to training compassionate, hardworking physicians who are deeply invested in community service. I am now thrilled to be furthering that mission as a resident physician on this team. After completing my training, I plan to pursue a career as an outpatient Internist with a strong focus on preventive care. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, cooking, reading, crafting, and playing video games. I’m also actively involved in my local community and attend church in Oak Ridge.
