I was born and raised in Cumberland Gap, TN. I knew I wanted to do medicine growing up and could not miss out on the opportunity to apply at LMU DCOM, which was so close to my home already in Harrogate. I ended up applying there and graduating from their medical school. I chose to apply at Tennova not only due to its great reputation in the area, but since my goal as a physician is to work in this community as well. My future goals for residency is currently to pursue a subspecialty, though I can’t quite rule out going into hospitalist work just yet. Outside of spending quality time with my family, some of my favorite hobbies to pass the time include woodworking, getting outdoors and playing some video games every now and then.
