I graduated from Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria, and provided safe, quality care as a primary care physician in various settings. I chose North Knoxville Medical Center because of its supportive, collaborative environment and the opportunity to learn from an outstanding faculty. I admire Tennova Healthcare’s commitment to excellence, as shown by its consecutive “A” grades in Leapfrog hospital safety, and I am excited to contribute to maintaining these high standards.My career goal to become a competent and autonomous internist aligns with the program’s focus on creating independent, compassionate, and skilled physicians. It’s also exciting to be part of a nurturing, dedicated community that will set me up for success. I stay committed to serving the underserved population, and I am eager to uphold the excellence and compassion that North Knoxville Medical Center is known for. Post-residency, I am considering a career in hospital medicine or primary care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy outdoor dining and watching soccer with family and friends.
