I began my journey in Nigeria, where I was raised with six siblings. My parents instilled in me the values of hard work, resilience, goodness, and patience, which have greatly influenced my pursuit of a medical career. I completed my medical education at the University of Calabar College of Medicine in Nigeria. I chose North Knoxville Medical Center for my Internal Medicine residency because of its experienced and supportive faculty, the camaraderie among residents and faculty, and its structured curriculum. After completing my residency, I plan to focus on primary care. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones, cooking, analyzing fashion, and traveling. I am passionate about community outreach and engagement. Recognizing my dedication to promoting unity and well-being within underserved populations, I was nominated as a community peace advocate.
