I am originally from Lahore, Pakistan. However, I spent most of my childhood in Abu Dhabi, UAE after which I came back to Pakistan to pursue my medical degree from Nishtar Medical College. Having spent most of my life in a multicultural place, this particular program grabbed my interest due to its diverse and dynamic environment which perfectly aligns with my personal and professional goals. After interacting with the senior residents at the Open house and witnessing their camaraderie I became much more comfortable with my decision to embark my new chapter of life at this warm and welcoming place. Currently my mind is set to pursue a career as a hospitalist but I am open to considering fellowship opportunities with Cardiology and Gastroenterology being my fields of interest. My parents and my wife are the pillars that make me stand tall and face any life challenges with ease. I love exploring nature and going for a hike which makes east Tennessee a perfect choice. I also love to workout during my leisure time.
